Somehow we're taking the phrase "Jones knows egyptian, yeah" and taking it to mean "Jones speaks ancient egyptian fluently." Those are two entirely different things.

That's like saying that since romantic love generally involves caressing, you can't be in love with somebody if you haven't got any hands.

You just don't want to see the truth, to protect you from THE HORROR!. I can understand, for I would give anything to go back .to that state of blissful ignorance, but I can never. Forever, o must live.with this realisation.

I wondered if someone should tell Jones she's on fire, but then I realized - Jones isn't burning at all. The flames are Jonesing. That's the only explanation.

And now it's what appears to be ancient Rome... Although for all I know it could be Pompei I guess. These vignettes are fun and all, but I'm starting to wonder how much longer this is going to go on for.
