There's a whole council dedicated to me?

Aww, I feel loved.

Or:

What?

Theory: Jeanne is Jones. The court protection is two-layered - first the ghost to block passage across the river, and Jones to mess up anything that does cross.

My only proof for this is that Jones has no first name. So, Jeanne = Joan = Jones. Also because Jones looks sort of like Jeanne with a tan and a different hairdo.

Yeah, so there's a corpse down there that's probably Jeanne's. No WMG is perfect.

What if Diego/some other guy/whatever made an artificial body for Jeanne or something?

That would make sense considering Jones's Weight, strength and demeanor... But then again, I shouldn't be talking about a lady's weight...

Ok, first off, Jones never uses a sword!
Second. WTF. Jones is not a robot, so you go for Cyborg?

Exactly. Ghost-Jeanne uses a sword. Going by my earlier theory that the Archer shot her soul out of her, her personality was split. This is why Jones is a mostly emotionless powerhouse.

You all may be right, but personally I'm still saying that Jones is not a cyborg, a magical cyborg, or an aetheric-stand-in-for-a-cyborg.
Jones doesn't look all that much like Jeanne, to me. In this particular page, I am reminded very much of Charles' Vess' illustrations of Stardust. Both for her looks, and his.

also, Muut is totally behind all these Jeanne-related shenanigans of Annie's. Remember this?
