Unless it's a red herring, at least one of his relatives is a douchebag.

How so? Or rather, how did you make out he was related to that.. Diego, was it? Because I assume that was the douchebag you're referring to.

No, in one of the flashbacks, Eglamore gets into a fight with a kid called Hyland who insults him and his friends for being connected to the ether.

Its actually Hyland, not hylander. Could just be Toms respelling of Highlander.

Still, theres no hint that Jack could be related to the Hyland boy that the young Eglamore got into a fight with in the flashback. So it could very well be a red herring.

He is his father.

At any rate, this is a generational story.

He is his father.

wait. that phrase... reminding me of something... He is his (own?) father... CITY FACE!

At any rate, this is a generational story.

*gasp* so is City Face's story!
I have just now realized how The City Face Cycle is an allegory for the entire workings of the court, its Generational nature, and the necessary relationships between the Court (represented by City Face) and the Aetheric Beings (represented by the Fairies. Notably the esteemed Polo - the Bestest Dancer).

The world will be destroyed if City Face cannot learn to dance the finest of dances to woo Girl Pigeon. Because of the Humans.
What does this represent? Are we about to find out with this, the ugly pigeon baby story (Ugly Pigeon Baby, who may or may not be City Face, son of City Face - Saviour of the World, and dancer sublime)?

Indeed. love the metal bits on the head - they remind me of the back ties of a bandana. Also - is it just me, or are those of the way better hands than most robots have?

But now the important question - does she have a blender in her person for the making of babybirdfood?
