I dislike Jones even more, and because of that, I'm starting to dislike GC as well.

It needs more Coyote ;p

Actually, the 'hospital fire' wasn't even real, it was more of a nightmare vision kind of thing. The kid was playing with fire, set fire to his house, killed his parents in the proccess, was at least 90% burned (as he looks burned all over after the 'vision' ended, and died himself.

Jones is totally not a robot.

Jones is not a robot. She is an android.

A cyborg, sir. She is a cyborg.

Or maybe Coyote's female part...?

Zimmy's prototype?

Has Jones always had 6 fingers on her left hand?

http://www.gunnerkrigg.com/archive_page.php?comicID=721

I don't think so, maybe just a mistake on the authors part. Its the same as a bit earlier on the same page and on the page back, 5 fingers total.

SHE'S A SHAPESHIFTER. This explains everything.

It sort of looks like she has two thumbs actually, like Tom accidentially started drawing a right hand instead of a left.

Everything has a meaning, nothing could ever possibly be a red herring and the author will never, ever make a mistake.

In such fertile ground is an epileptic tree planted.

Red herrings have a meaning. They mean that the author feels like screwing with people's minds.

Man, I hated this comic with every fiber of my being when I first started reading it. I mean, shit, the main character was an absolute Mary Sue at the start. I'm glad I stuck with it though, as things move along, and other (More Interesting) characters get some lime light the story gets more interesting as a whole.
