Is Jeanne crying as well? Maybe hate isn't all that's left of her spirit or otherwise she wouldn't have told her story.

Also, Parley is unaware of her glowing heart in the etherium I guess.

I still don't get it, why's she complaining about how she was shot? She wasn't shot. Is it that she was metaphorically shot through the heart (and Steadman's to blame) and she just stared at the light until she died?

It also sounds like the device that shot the elf guy had some sort of power to trap her spirit there. The intent of all of this was to make a guardian for the Annan Waters. Just leaving here down there wouldn't have done it by itself. If that was the case they wouldn't have needed a special arrow to kill the elf guy.
