Just read through all of the archives after a few hours. I have greatly enjoyed it.

Did smitface just summon Parley? :D Looks like bringing the kid with the context-sensitive solve-this-problem-as-fast-as-possible-power was a good idea.

Acanthus, stop with the all-caps in every god damn thread.

Also, I think Parley only appeared because she was thinking of Smit, not the other way around. Her teleporting takes her to the thing she's thinking of when it activates, right?

Alright, I almost forgot about those other people. I'm quite glad they're there again...

Heh, to be honest, I had forgotten about Paz entirely before she appeared again. >_>

Yes.

Smit and Parley in particular are both in training with Annie, learning to use their powers better.
Also, it seems most of the students are likely to have something unusual about them. It could be one of the entry requirements for the school; good grades, good attendance percentages, good scores on the entry test, ethereal abilities and/or lineage and suppressed emotional problems.

At least in house Chester. Or maybe Chester's only for non-humans, and humans with/without abilities go wherever else, since Parley's in Thornhill and Andrew and annie both are in Queslett.

Four hours later: Damn you people and your well-placed comics.
Guess I'll throw my hat into this ring...
...The arrow that they shot Jeanne with didn't even have a point, as you'll recall.  Also, it was glowing.
Clearly not meant to puncture.  Hell, the entire arrow itself could have been ethereal for all we know.
Also, no sound emanated up from the ravine when she was shot.  If this were a normal situation, there would have been SOME kind of noise...

...I swear, this comic is the biggest mind-fuck I've experienced lately.

Theory: it was an etheric arrow. Rather than merely killing Jeanne, it passed right through her and pinned her soul to that side of the canyon.

Naturally she died.

No, she died on the court side and her soul remains there.
