Annie's mind is somehow getting warped into Zimmy's and vice versa.  Seeing as Zimmy is now the calm one... and not so possessive, like Annie is now.

We already have Zimmy who has nightmares that affect the world outside him, Coyote the trickster god and Jones the enigmatic superwoman. And a huge power station that apparently drains magic out of lakewater and zaps it elsewhere. That's some serious Meddling In God's Domain right there. We don't NEED anything else for weird mind screw plots.

Alternatively, that could be normal rain since in the last panel, the background is melting.

Theres also the fact that 'Annie' appears to be crying, or maybe thats coming from the rain in the real world, also notice that Spider Jacks hair is changing and his eyes have changed as well.

This was a very interesting and enjoyable chapter.

But there's one thing I hope to God Tom doesn't do. I hope it doesn't turn out that everything since the chapter on the rooftops was just a Zimmy dreams. I will fucking punch some shit if he pulls that twist on us.

Although I'm expecting him to pull that twist and the another twist which reveals that everything actually did happen, haha it was also a dream.

Yeah. Two twists I hope don't happen.
