Wolf/Coyote hybrid, I think. Which, really, isn't too different from a wolf or a coyote. Coyote himself is...stylized rather then looking like an actual coyote.

If I have to guess, I'd say the purple bubble is entirely the doing of the robots, and the court management has nothing to do with it.

Is the same purple bubble that one of the parents did in 'back when we were kids' flashback. Even teh sound effect was the same.

So I do think this is court's doing.
