Indeed, and I am definitely getting a vibe that that signifies something more is going on. Dream sequence maybe? (Which would go hand in hand with him being a super dick and singling her out.)

Or flustered, or otherwise confused and/or self-conflicted.  She's had similar eyes to the last panel back when she was trying to hook Alistar and Kat up, and I think she's made a similar face on other occasions where the subject of her father came up in an uncomfortable way.  Rey also made a similar face to the earlier panels briefly back when he was given a flower (which I remember because that chapter had some great Rey faces; I wanted to use that one as an avatar for a while).
