I don't even think Annie will get in trouble. The robots regard Kat and her as gods and their only trusted link of how to comprehend humans. She might get punished by human staffers if they find out, but if it is all robot action there will just be a hush hush about it.

Oh god, last two panels.

And. Man I love that little guy.

Apparently I'm just in it for the robot jokes.

So close to resolving that cliffhanger.

So close.

Yeah, I know.

Also, I do like Kat with the long hair. It suits her, I suppose.

So close to resolving that cliffhanger.

So close.

Now I have that really strange feeling that there will be some kind of 'let's see what happened 30 minutes ago in some other place, for next half of a chapter' story.

It will cut to Annie walking in some kind of cathedral with an eyepatch and a ethereal ghost-kat hovering nearby, and we'll learn what happened via numerous conflicting flashbacks over the course of the next two years.

Or: The resonance cascade from the activated power station kills the whole cast, and the continuation will feature completely different people in a completely different setting 300 years to the future.

Or: Everyone will take Annie's preposterous story at face value, and she gets to no trouble whatsoever. Jack gets dealt with off-panel. No one will ever mention this incident again.

Or there will be a resonance cascade, and all of a sudden, the Court becomes City 17 and Kat becomes a mute scientist protagonist wielding a crowbar.

Okay, but I'll only be satisfied when Boxbot becomes huge and shit, and scream "HELLLOOOO" when it has those scripted beatdown battles.

This isn't MSPA, please don't curse this!

Also, I tend to read the archives of a comic up to current, then let it "grow back" before I return to "harvest" the new updates all at once. Sometimes I don't visit the site again for months, and then am happily surprised when I rediscover it.

I just can't stand waiting for them, fed a tiny bit every day. I read the whole GK archive in two days. Unless they can give me another 15 chapters a day I need to just leave it alone for a while.

And why.

Mine has left in favor of Lord Xykon, though.
