Maybe some sort of "built of belief" type thing? So he technically doesn't exist since all he really is is everyone's belief? Who knows, it'll be interesting to see where he's going with this. (Or if he'll just leave us hanging like so many other coyote stories do.)

Yeah, I'm kinda expecting some "I am created out of human stories and beliefs" rather than being a force of nature. So even though he rules over the Forest, he's inherently a product of the world of man. Makes sense that Ysengrim would resent that.

Or...he may just be doing a Coyote thing and totally bullshitting. That's the beauty with Coyote--you're never quite sure if he's serious or not. It's like perma-Fry.

Or she's a mythic construct herself. There's something innately familiar about that "Wandering Eye" moniker.

There's been some discussion on the GC forums about Hathor-Sekhmet, who was sent forth to punish transgressions and protect the righteous. She was often referred to by the epithet "wandering eye of Ra". It would fit with the badass aspect.
