It was in the year 2012 that the upheaval occured. With the gradual corruption of the worlds governments that was taking place, it was no surprise that this occured. Many history textbooks argue about the true first conflict, the spark that lead to it all. One thing that is agreed, however, is the major contenders on the western hemisphere, the Universal Rights Society and the Entropy Alliance.
Coupled with the re-discovery of magic in the late 20th century, the war escalated to global conflict. Millions died after the initial conflict, and the resulting mass executions that followed resulted in a global population of 3 billion.
This is the story of Varuian, the first city to be beset by the conflict.
