Oh yeah, mosquitoes hate me. Like I've been bitten twice innthe last year without using bug spray. And my feet are pretty cold. But that's probably because I'm tall and skinny.

You're not hearing a "hum" of electricity, I THINK, but you're feeling magnetic field generated by an electric current passing through a wire.
Having experience with electromagnetism, you'll only 'hear' the field when its in excess of 1000 volts. Generally you just hear the wire itself vibrating from the current flowing through it.

As for my oddities, I can stick both legs behind my head at once, understand backwards speech perfectly well, read upside down, and reach three inches past my toes when stretching.

I also get cold very easily due to my lack of insulation.

My irises change color with the seasons--brown in the winter, green in the summer.

Mine used to do this when I went indoors/outdoors.
Blue outside, green inside.
Now my eyes are just blue-green though. Lame!

It is the middle of dang spring and my feet are dang freezing.

And for some reason insects always avoid me. Except for wasps. Fricken wasps.

Phantom, if what you say is true, I would very much like to trade climates with you. Arizona frequently has 46C summer days.

Not to mention that our summer season lasts from February through September.

Like being unable to use the same letter twice in a row? ;D

our summer season lasts from February through September.
The opposite is true here. We have summer from June to July, autumn from August to September, winter from October to April, and spring occurs (briefly, if at all) in May.

Just a few years ago, it snowed six inches on mother's day. Mother's day.

I meant my feet are cold in summer. It was 84 degrees farenheit a few days ago, and that was spring.

And the reason I don't wear socks is that they don't do crack for me.

My ears are very small (which I can move), but my hearing is normal. My eyes are normal grayish green, but they have yellow rings near the irises. My family has a naturally board and strong back. My abdominal muscles are asymmetrical. My limbs are short, but that's probably because my family has been living in Northern Europe for countless decades.

Do you count scars? I've got a scar on my right eyebrow, I got it when I was a little kid. I'm actually proud of it for unknown reasons.

I'm your average guy.
