Personally, I think the no OOC discussion of character stuff is a bit... harsh. I was in a pretty RP intensive game back in the day, and pull off some of the things our characters were and were supposed to represent carried a lot of out of game work - but then, the emphasis was on narrative quality.

And playing families is super fun, and that just cant be done without plenty of OOC work.

Speaking of which, after my current character (of which I will say no more) dies horribly, I was thinking of starting up a dwarf family of some sort. But I've got no idea what dwarf family structure looks like. :/
