Alright, my dude got approved, but before I start could someone tell me what I should do when I hit the ground? Is there a bay12 group yet? Where should I start?

I started in Luir, there's some people and merchants around, but the other places seem more popular, I'm still trying to find out how to get out because this MUD doesn't have a single notion of maps.

Taverns are your friend. I've played for a couple hours, and asking questions in bars is so helpful.

For maps, type "help map". There are like 3 maps I think.

Eh, they really frown on starting OOC groups. It's considered cheating. I think it's OK to gang up and have fun in an IC group, like join the same hunting party, just don't do things your character wouldn't do.

Yeah, Arm.1 is pretty shitty when it comes to maps. Luir is pretty much dead most of the time. It's the zone where all the parties happen, but otherwise, it's dead. Head up north to Tuluk (nice people) or south to Allanak (mean people). It's where all the fun is. Try not to get killed along the way, and you might want to get a mount if you can afford it ;)

That's what I already said. We're allowed to say "Okay I'm on now, who else is". However, if we meet (Say in Firestorm pub) we have to RP it, we can't just say oh you're a bay12er lets go.
Also I stole a sword hellyeah.

If you mean Hall of Kings that's where you choose to start.
Just type point Tuluk.

And I want to start at Allanak. Backstory reasons.

I'm actually an ex-nomad from the Tablelands who left his tribe after his father was killed by a dujat worm.
