Is there still interest in continuing this?

If not, I will make one final combined image and stop updating it.

Yeah, I had forgotten about mine. I will probably get back to it in a week or two.

Imagine a cool peice of sky-blue and milk-white marble about 3cm by 2cm and by 0.5cm, containing a tiny 2mm malacolite crystal. Now imagine the miles of metamorphic rock it's embedded in that no pick or chisel will ever touch. Then, imagine that those miles will melt back into their mantle long before any telescope even refracts an image of their planet. The watchers will be so excited to have that image too.

Hrm? What? Absolutely no interest at all.  :P

...I think we can still finish it.

There are some tiles that don't connect. There are also tiles that are COMPLETELY selfishly made so that nothing can connect to them. (I'm looking at YOU, psychadelic snowflake bullshit)

I don't see any that have connection issues other than those that can simply be fixed by adjusting similar colours, a step that is included as part of combining the images.

As for difficult tiles, I could remove them with sufficient consensus, but it would have to be a common opinion.

I also think the kill-flake was submitted as a form of gentle trolling.

EDIT:

Don't get rid of it, I have an idea for it.

Don't get rid of it, I have an idea for it.

Exactly why I will wait for a general consensus before removing offending art. It encourages creativity if people want to work with what they already have.

I'm really surprised at how well my village fit in. I stuck it there, thinking you meant a map, but it turned out to be an awesome portrait of a land of awesome.

On the snowflake, I had been trying to put a closed cavern beside it, one where the glow would play across the walls and there would be a little tower slowly collecting energy.
