LP of Medeival 2: Total War. HAIL GLORIOUS BRITAIN!!!

The LP has begun, see further posts and read carefully.

     If you have a Character, you (hopefully) control a city. You will, when necessary, pick what buildings you build, what taxes you impose, what troops you recruit, and what those troops do. You will give me instructions for several turns, and I will follow them until something significant happens that would alter decisions, or until the amount of turns we have instructions for has gone by. Player alliances and disputes are heavily encouraged. For example, if your character has a son and three people are on the waiting list, you get to choose who takes control of him. If you capture an aggressive nations city, and there are Characters without, you get to choose who gets it. Players are allowed to have 2 Characters at a time, of immediate relation, should they so choose.To make it easier on me, only one Character can assault a city at a time, and armies will never merge. If you want more troops mid-campaign, you will have to move every person back, recruit your men, and head back to the front.

     Every turn, I will keep track of your city's treasury, and the national treasury, which takes a 10% tax of every citys income. In times of war or Crusades, every nation who voted for the war can draw from the national treasury for recruitment, so long as those troops head straight to the front. Characters who voted for peace can use it only for defense, and units recruited in defense will be disbanded shortly after the threat is removed. In times of peace, civil works, such as roads and religious buildings, are allowed to draw from the national treasury, but you will incur a debt. Players can, and are encouraged, to bribe each other for political favors, establish tithes for protection, and other such.

     I, as supreme overlord, carry out your instructions and, should a battle pop up, carry out the generalities of any strategy you give me. If you instigate a fight on your turn, give me instructions in advance or I will let the AI slaughter your troops. If you would like, you can give me a template to always follow, such as specifying that if you have cavalry and outnumber, abandon tactics and just charge down everything. If you do give such a template, please format it nicely and clearly.

     Again, for my convenience, the Navy is going to be consolidated as its own, intangible Character. Whoever has this Character will be living off of the National treasury, relying on others for its unit production. I doubt there will be any sort of compliance failure, since the Navy will be protecting your fishing income, holding off aquatic invasions, and ferrying troops.

I use fraps for my LP, its had a couple issues but it for the most part works.

Also will read.  8)

For the moment, the starting gold of 10000 will be split 3/3/3/1, with the 1 being the national treasury.

There's about 25 of the fuckers and the three sarge killed were at point blank range - it's got to be zombies or a bunch of really dumb terrorists with knives.

For buildings and their costs, check out this awesome website, which I am too lazy to copy and paste.

Occasionally, buildings will have odd pre-requisites or need a certain time frame to be reached. Should you ask for a building and it is not available, I will tell you as much.
