Best way to spend $2.05 online
« on: April 09, 2010, 06:07:59 pm »

I've got $2.05 in a paypal account and I can't seem to find anything to buy... any ideas on places to search/items to search for?

Toady's donate button looks tempting, but I recall reading somewhere that paypal adds some kind of service charge ~$1.

Donate it to some other good cause. There are plenty if you look around.

If so, then doesn't the $1 service charge exist for all Paypal transactions?  I think you're looking for stuff to do with $1.05, in this case... which should buy either a couple of polio vaccines for African children or a slinky.

Your choice, doodabuddy.

Er, yeah, Paypal takes like $1 from those too. $1.05 can barely buy food for a starving child. It's only like a day's wages in the poorest countries.

I say find another dollar and buy Unreal World. Sell a brick on eBay or something. I got my $10 Paypal money from filling in surveys, but they haven't given me any more surveys lately :P

If I had a brick, i'd try this.

I know a guy who sold his fingernail clippings.

I have a few cinderblocks floating around my yard.
Should I sell them?

Well, try doing surveys (link works if you're australian). After a few weeks, you'll have enough to buy a cheap game.
