This is my first time ever getting flamed in this community, which should give you an idea that I'm not trying to be a provocateur here. It's not "Flamebait," it's a genuine interest, especially how the first piece of information that the OP provides to help resolve their problem is that they're running on a Mac, meaning they know that out of everything, that's the most likely reason.

If I was him and did not think the mac aspect was the most likely culprit for my issues, I would ask it as such.

Default World Gen Rejecting All Worlds
I am running the Mac version of D19 and, using the default "Create a World Now!" option, all possible worlds are being rejected. Can you guys help me trouble shoot this?

Notice how the "mac" part is a supporting detail.

Selling it seems excessive you could just install any os you like anyway

Personally I use a Ubuntu laptop for pretty much everything, a Windows desktop for games and a OSx/MacMini for iPhone dev.

If you're having trouble with world generation, that is not version (or graphics options) or OS dependent. If you cannot get a world to gen on the non-customized make new world option, then you have an issue (for which more details will be required). If it is a customized worldgen, then have a look at the worldgen threads. Chances are you've made your parameters too restrictive. In the init file, turn on logging rejects and see what is causing the failures.

Also, mac hate is worse fanboyism than mac love. Please stop wasting our time with it. Yes, Iban, that is flamebait.

Because, Iban, when you seek technical support help you need to provide basic details about what hardware you're using, what operating system you are running, what version of the software you're trying to use and other relevant details. He provided all the info that was needed to help him.

And if he was asking about the Linux version of DF would you still have flamed him?

I do suspect Mac people and others have to wait at least 1-2 months for the official port. Until then, I guess the hax-solutions ppl provide are your best bet.
