Examine the carvings on the wall and examine myself for injuries or any sign of why I can't remember anything but Gatla.
[6] You squint at the carvings on the wall. You catch a brief glance of strange flowing symbols, then your head starts to hurt. Badly.
You look away, fight down the pain, and take another glance. Lights flash in front of your eyes, but you think... yes, you recognise some of these symbols. You have a flashback of sterilised labs, and a man reading a piece of card with the same symbols on them. You remember that he had a seizure.

Examine the carvings, look around for civilization signs
[3] You glance briefly at the carvings, but they make you uncomfortable, so you look away. You look around for regular structures, but the carvings are the only civilized things in sight.
Rest in shade and try to control oxygen!
[2] You sit down in the shadow of an precariously balanced rock. Not knowing where to begin on oxygen control you just start shouting.
The rock wobbles.
The rock falls.
You get out of the way, but you still get a fright and a face full of dust.
Rest in the shade, determine which way is west by the movement of the shadows.
[4] You sit in the shade and watch the shadows lengthen. It would appear that the sun will set pretty much opposite the carvings; to get to Gatla you will just have to follow your nose out of these ravines.
+Directions
Examine contents of small bag.
[4] Your bag contains a copper knife, some rope, a gemstone, two pieces of flint, a small leather cauldron (with wooden frame), assorted coins, three flat breads, some dates, and a half-eaten sausage. The food totals perhaps two days worth of rations.
Look for food
[2] The rock around you is barren, aside from a few stalks of grass which are the same colour, and, presumably, edibility, as the rock.
ask around about everyone's plans, then examine carvings to find a strategy maybe
Sorry. Six people; more gets hectic.

Note: Serious level is mediumish. That is, whilst you will not learn skills in the field by just trying stuff, learning a skill given a proper opportunity to learn will be perfectly possible. Such opportunities will arise.
