Hmm, I can't seem to figure out a way to make '/' and '*' stop moving me up and down Z levels. I know I've changed that before but for some reason I'm blanking out today lol. Help?

I just realized two things. 1. For the Win and F___ the World have the same initials. 2. They have the same meaning in Dwarf Fortress.

While you’re in-game go Esc > Key Bindings > General and look for “Move/view cursor up (z)” and “Move/view cursor down (z)” and the two auxiliary (aux) should be right below those.  You can add a new key for those with "Add binding" and delete any existing binding by highlighting it and hitting “Backspace”.  Remember to “Save and exit” to keep your changes.  I hope that helps.

Somehow my game shows all backgrounds as brown and there are weird black squares near texts.

I was going to change the name of battle axe to Dane axe but the I realized that there are no Danish in DF.

i have a bit of an issue. i'll play this vesrion of the game, save it, turn off my PC, get on the next day, and the world is gone. any help would be very appritiated

Is it normal that all the zeroes are replaced with tomb symbols in the whole game ?

Cause it makes worldgen a bit unreadable.

I agree with the above - Mayday Tileset has always been and will always be (unless its abandoned, Armok forbid :P) my DF tileset of choice! I like it better than Ironhand by a lot!

I never have used any other tileset, not even the default >.>

Awesome. Would be better if we saw the cascades more realistically, but it's still really good.

I suppose that it might be in a next version ?
