3d region map

i remember there was a programm (not directly df related) that can turn the black&white export maps for altitude, rainmap and color and so on into a nice 3d view of the world, anyone know there its to be found? i cant remember what the thread was called (think its like half a year or more ago someone posted about it)

well thats kinda a similar tool but: it has not the option to use the rain map to simulate clouds in the 3d view (i know there was one)

and also it crashes with large region maps :(

I've been looking for that thread! thanks for digging it up.

Also, can anyone tell me why that program seems to forget about the textures?

well i still know there is a tool that can produce clouds with the rainfall map but ok for playing around that toll is enough
