Puppy? I hit embark now for my first fort and got two female dogs and recently one gave birth to a puppy. None of the migrants brought dogs so I can only conclude that in addition to spores we now have parthenogenesis.

It may have been pregnate before embark so was brought along in that state.

Was it only that females can't get pregnant if they're in a cage?

Males in cages can apparently impregnate. Good to know.
