so... has anyone gotten him/her yet? I'm currently in a nice little fort of 76 waiting for them to show up so I can tame the unicorns and deer and add child tags as needed. have dug down and uncovered the caverns already, if that's a factor.

The Dungeon master has the
[APPOINTED_BY:DUKE]
[APPOINTED_BY:COUNT]
[APPOINTED_BY:BARON]
tags, so I believe you need at least 10,000 exported wealth and 100,000 created wealth (the requirements for a duke).

From what I understand of the new Noble system, you also have to actually appoint one of your own Dwarves to be the Duke/Count/Baron now?  Not exactly sure if that's how it's been engineered, but that's what I remember hearing.

Well this is good news! I have a guy who likes iron, marble and crowns, cheapest guy EVER! Should be easy to please him.

I have a baron already, so all I need to do now is to up fortress wealth and exports accordingly? that'll be easy. time to go convert some of those electrum bars into valuable items...
