you know, the sockets on the other pipes look to be square. Perhaps the handles you are supposed to put in them are diffrent shapes but no the actual socket/handle connector (damn I hate not knowing these terms)

try taking the triangle valve and putting it into the other valve sockets?

You pull out the BIG TRIANGLE VALVE and stick it in the SPILLWAY SOCKET. Fits perfectly! You have no idea why your SENSELESS APPRENTICE has such a passion for these trite (and expensive!) puzzle elements.

You cast Develop on the BOTTLE OF BRANDY. It doesn't develop any further.

You cast Develop on the PINK POTION. It boils and rattles inside the bottle, then settles down. You don't notice any changes ...

You cast Exacerbate on the PHOTOGRAPH.







You turn the TRIANGLE VALVE, and you can hear water course through the pipe.
