So my female dwarf who was with child decided to go abit loopy loo, went berserk on her own baby but was quickly subdued by guards. Now the baby is wandering around my fort spamming the message "Dwarven baby cancels clean self: Too insane."

Is there anyway to stop this? Will the baby continue to grow without a parent?

Problem solved, baby died shortly after. Didn't find an actual cause though.

Also just lost 6 legendary axe dwarves to 1 Goblin Master with a silver scourge, not happy :/

In the midst of a tantrum spiral, I was getting dozens of these messages. Not even necessarily from berserk dwarves, just dwarves without food or booze, whose friends were dying left and right and their rotting carcasses filling the halls.

I assume when dwarves start feeling real bad, they just can't be bothered to wash.

Yeh I realised why it was happening, just wondering if it was possible to stop it. May aswell use this thread now for my next question, I decided to abandon my fort and want to embark somewhere with magma higher than 200 Z-levels below me. I found a volcanoe but the embark option is greyed out, any ideas why?

You need to have one non-mountain or water square in your embark area.

i happen to keep getting a canceled clean order by my head broker dwarf who was unlucky enough to get both his hands broken by a Elk Bird...i can't stop laughing about the sight of my head dwarf running around with casts on bot hands try to work XD
