I usually play at 1920x1200 or 2560x1600. I use upscaled Mayday graphics but it would be nice to have more definition.

I run DF at 1280x800 with 16x16 tiles and grid 80x50. My monitor and graphics card can go all the way up to to 2048x1536, but I pretty much never have it above 1200x1024 at 85hz, which is where it looks best.

I run DF in windowed as 1024x720, my screen is 1440x900, I like being able to see more tiles and not having the whole screen taken up. So I prefer smaller tilesets, but not too small. (I use the 640x300 default tileset :P)

It just fits me more to be able to see what is going on and not scroll everywhere. Even though I'm not a Tileset maniac anymore, I just thought you would like to know my opinion.

So it's your decision, not everyone likes gigantic tiles, but quite a few do, having both would be harder to maintain, but it would be nice to both parties to give both 16x16 and 21x21.

But that's just me. ::)

Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

I've got dual monitors, each at 1680x1050. I generally prefer to use 16x16 and maximize the window on one screen.

I play in 1680X1050 because that is my screen resolution (I got a big monitor.)

Current resolution is at 2048x1152.  (16:10 aspect ratio)

I would love a bigger tile size as currently on my 2x2 embark, the map doesn't reach all the way across the monitor. =D

800x600.

I have -no idea why- you people would have anything larger then 1024x720, its insane.

Guess you have never used a modern monitor that has a native resolution up in the higher ranges... trust us, it is a much better solution to have your apps run in the native resolution than to force your monitor to change resolutions constantly... especially when you are using a 2 monitor setup.

Agreed, a native resolution is much sharper (although you could argue any factor of the native resolution should be just as clear)

I tend to play at 1600x800 windowed (100x50 with a 16x16 tileset), once zoom is back in I'd consider a larger tile set than that. (or something like 1024 x 600 on my eee, which is a real pain for titlesets)

I rarely play games full-screen any more.

My screen is 1920x1080 which is unfortunate because its not possible to divide by 16 without a remainder so square sets are never truely square but these are the settings i use now

[GRAPHICS_FULLSCREENX:1920]
[GRAPHICS_FULLSCREENY:1080]

I've got a 1680 x 1050 monitor, and play in a 1600 x 960 window.  It'd be nice if DF had something like Bigtile mode in Angband, which uses letters that are 1/2 as wide as the tiles.
