He he he.  Yeah, it almost looks done...  alas...  those who are in your teens, hold on until your twenties...  those in your twenties, your thirties...  others, cling to life as you are able...
It should be pretty fun though.

Mmm...querned kitten.

Even better, hook it up to a windmill, and you have a perpetual and convenient solution to catsplosions.

Think "population of China". They would reproduce faster than you could put them into the millstone.

Head cheese.

And as for the shockingness of blood pudding: Meh. Here up north we ate bucketfuls of the stuff in primary school. Not too bad. Kinda dark brown or black, served with jam.

So what's the tripe?

*google*

ugh... Tripe (from Italian trippa) is a type of edible offal from the stomachs of various farm animals

I eat tripe in Pho all the time... wonderful stuff once you get used to the odd texture.

Even with this information, I still like to imagine "cat sweetbread" as two slices of bread with a kitten in between them.

Fights off hunger and easily carried by patrolling troops.

In fact sandwich making should be a job, just like cheese making, and it should be moodable.

"This is Kittenboots, a cat sandwich.  All craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality. It is made from Stray Cat (Tame) and encircled with bands of sliced bread.  It menaces with spikes of prepared kitten intestines.  On the item is an image of goblins, dwarves, and cats in dog tripe.  The goblins are making a plaintive gesture.  The dwarves are laughing.  The cats are burning."

Yep! Now just to figure out custom workshops, and the Dwarven Gourmet Mod (temporary title) can begin  8)

Please do this.

Also, I was looking for relevant pictures/videos, but I grossed myself out.

It should be a fairly simple mod, overall.  I'd do it myself if I didn't have far too much non-DF-related things I need to do as it is.

I think blood pudding is shocking to Americans since it's almost unheard of here. I've never seen it on a menu at any restaurant I've been to. I think I would eat it, though, if given the chance. After eating pig's brains at a luau in Hawaii when I was young, I don't think any part of the animal would phase me. It's just that finding a place that actually offers odd bits is a challenge.

As for the meat grinder I was hoping to make, it seems that my efforts might be stymied for the time being. I've been told only vermin can actually be used as reagents, but I'm hoping more information will surface soon... Apparently a lot about the new reaction system is unknown atm.

I'd like to think that a masterwork sandwich would have an image of a smiling dwarf in mustard and an image of dwarf beard in ketchup.
