You can't go to the movies with internet friends.  You can livestream, but you can't go to Target, buy cheaper candy, and hide it all in the female group-members purses to sneak it into the movie theater, and that's half the fun of watching a movie.

Internet friends are nowhere near as good as RL friends.

As for your problem - go join a club. Chess club, D&D club, soccer club, knitting club - doesn't matter what it is, as long as it's something that you find interesting. You'll have people around you that share a common interest with you, and day-to-day happenings in the club will give you more than enough conversation starters.
