Thought I'd pipe up and say I really love the tileset and what you've done with it so far. I've been using it happily.
On the chairs: I may be a bit strange, but I like how the chairs and tables are in the last official release. Not so hot on stools or anything either, I'm afraid.
Also, I was working on (roughly) converting the plants in Civ Forge and SethCreiyd's Flora & Fauna for my own use with my Ironhand build, and made a quick sort of guide for plant tiles in your set to submit to Mephansteras in case he finds it helpful for CF.
So, on the off-chance that anyone
else would find it useful, I'll paste it here for anyone who might like to convert their plants into your graphics framework.
First, a catalog of tile numbers in Ironhand, and a description of what they look a bit like:
5 - deciduous tree, broader
6 - deciduous tree, narrower
23 - deciduous tree, broader
147 - coniferous tree
244 - large willow tree (can double as large, bulky fluffy thing)
245 - palm tree
231 - sapling graphic -- looks like it could pass well for a variety of plants
226 - the old upside-down L, often used for weird trees
144 - cactus
160 - dead tree, but recolored can pass for some other things
248 - dead tree, possibly can pass for other things
169 - dead shrub
13 - grass/grain
18 - herb bush/shrub
28 - three little thingies, often used for dead shrub, but quite usable for other things
21 - coiled thread/fiber often used for herbs already
127 - bunched fiber/asparagus/stalks (looks like it's tied, so this is probably better for harvested stuff than the shrubs themselves)
3 - succulent large fruit or mushroom
15 - star/masterwork/turtle symbol, usable for spiky fruits, flowers, and the like
41 - parenthesis -- works well for banana type fruits
42 - parenthesis -- works well for banana type fruits
43 - asterisk, usable for spiky fruits, flowers, and the like
161 - bulky fruit/vegetable/tuber thing
141 - small mushroom
236 - large rock; usable as large, bulky fruit like pumpkin
152 - moss/lichen (actually just stone, but it really looks good in this usage)
156 - leeks/assorted small stalks/herbs -- or at least looks like it could pass for them fairly well
235 - old handcuffs, passes for a couple of fruits with stems or other odd shape
248 - tube (small circle not much different from default ASCII)
There is some potential in others for creative use, even the rocks and such, but these are the ones that suggest themselves right away.
On the other hand, I should note that, while it may just be me, 58 (colon) and 34 (double-quotes) don't seem to make as good plants anymore in this scheme, but they could probably still work.
