Just like everyone else, you get offered a Slasher (or curvy spear, if you prefer :P)

Accept? Y/N

Are there any ways to earn lots of money by fighting?

Arena, day 5.

There's also a race today, if you want to try your hand at that.

Finally, you could just ask for a loan/borrow cash from the Orders, but then you HAVE to go on this mission. And your paycheck will decrease substantially.

Agh. Don't like these new smileys.

But anyway, you learn to alter the density and other basic properties of matter.

Warp yourself a weapon? (Give a description if you do)

Damn, that was foolish. Whether from inexperience, or the blasted headache from the crowd, I erred. The link is aware of me now, he...it...will be on it's guard. Whats more, it is aware I know what it is. I was merely struck this time, but the speed at which it fled made me think that fighting it in hand to hand would be stupid at best.

But at least the day bore some fruit. This stranger named Trap intrigued me. His mind was different, alien, but not cruel or dark like the links. Rather interesting really. More interesting was the fact that he was approached by the same group that came to me. Recruiting a warper? They're serious about this venture. I might have to reconsider.

But for now, I wonder what business the Link had here at the amphitheater. Following it directly would be dangerous, but I can discover it's actions indirectly. Focusing as much as I could, I headed into amphitheater to investigate what the link did there.

Heading over, you see no obvious signs of tampering or sabotage. Asking around, it seems it may have something to do with the competitor he was chasing, who had won his trial, by the sounds of things. Follow this lead?

Archangel, a footrace crossed with a hardcore obstacle course. You won't win (you're going against Ferals, who LOVE to race) but you may do well enough to get lucky...

I'm bored, so here you go. Straight from my mind to your screens.

Furies:

If any of you are wondering where I pull this stuff from, there is about 200 years of backstory prior to the change that covers one group of characters and plots, and those characters, and their motivations, remain within the Changed Lands - not to mention I've come up with two major events within this timeline itself, of which you're part of the second, so most of what you're seeing is stuff I've already come up with long ago.

Um, "Reign again once more" is a tautology. You only need to use "again" or "once more". In this case I think "once more" fits better.

As for the race, I'll join. If nothing else, It will be good training. If you don't mind, I'd like to continue this discussion via PM.

I'll pursue that lead. I'll try and find out who exactly the link's competetor was, and why he was being chased.

Hunting down a few people who were there at the time, and picking their brains (both literally and figuratively) for information, you're able to piece together what happened. Its clear that 42 was an escaped slave from over the mountains, and Links are well known for their devotion to the recapture of slaves, so that's probably the motive behind the chase. Still, there are a few unknowns you wish you knew...

To see what you learnt, go back to Creator trial I posted under the last turn.
