Wrapping with cloth and using crutches
« on: April 05, 2010, 11:58:18 pm »

Well, in Adventure mode, you can now wrap certain body parts (such as grasps) in cloth. What does this do?

EDIT: You can also gain crutchwalking skill, but you use up one grasp to hold the crutch. It's bugged though as placing the crutch in a bag considers you still using a crutch, so drop it if you want to stop using it. Your speed is also modified by your crutch walking skill, so don't expect to run around immediately.

Eh? Where did you get cloth? Wrapping? Maybe punching things skins your knuckles and wrapping them in cloth prevents that?

Huh, is this actually possible?  It'd be grand if you could show some screenshots of the deed.

And this may very well be how we're supposed to stop bleeding.

On a side note, does anyone know a good online photo storage site?
My pictures are always reduced in size.

Yes but then the three children hanging off her will catch fire.
And that's stopped people before...?

So how is this accomplished?  Can it be done with clothing?

I've tried using this along with splints to no success on wounds, unfortunately.
I think the only sources of cloth are some caves and abandoned fortresses.

So you can find cloth in caves?

Anyone confirmed this?

I'm not sure that its something that needs confirming - just about anything has a chance of happening somewhere in this game.  I don't think you want to rely on caves for cloth, regardless.

Are you sure this has no effect on wounds?  Kinda strange that it's implemented if it has no effect.
