I like blood now. I have my military repeatedly clearing the underground for me so my woodcutters are safe.
Since I am counting down hundreds of trees it is inevitable that the haulers step in the blood. And for some reason, a soon as they step out side, the blood starts to fall off.

End result: I have pools of blood and ichor all over my fortresses entrance. I love Dwarf Fortress.
