Evil Elves

So I was running amok in adventure mode and I noticed something peculiar...There are no goblins! Every dark fortress I've visited is entirely populated by demon-worshipping elves! With not a goblin to be seen. Go figure!  :P

In truth, goblins are actually elves who were turned green and little by a demon long ago in other worldgens. You're watching goblins in the making.

The goblins of .31 have a bit of an issue. You see, the goblins are more kidnap happy than ever, but no more fertile. The result of this is that the kidnaped babies of the nearist civilization quickly grow up and out-breed the much weaker and less fertile goblins, who will be more often killed in seiges and kidnapping attempts. Thus, by 1050 any goblin civ that isn't isolated will be a Human/Dwarf/Elf Dark Fortress instead of a Goblin one.

Is that DF Cannon? Because Elves in DF aren't LOTR goblins... they're cannibalistic hippies.

Yeah, and the goblins are demon-worshiping industrialist mass-kidnappers.

Elves are in fact corrupted goblins.
