[0.31.01] Cows only give birth to bulls

While it's awesome that we can milk them now, cows only give birth to bulls in fortress mode, making it impossible to sustain without traders. Is this a bug or just me?

I started my fort with 1 cow.  I haven't been paying attention but checking my list I now have 1 cow and 6 bull calves.  Hmmmm

Can't confirm, I've seen cow calves and bull calves. However, my Mountain Goat has been giving birth to horse calves. Seriously.

Oh wait, I finally got one cow calf. So yeah. Not a bug... just really hard to get.

It's just a naming error in the raws. They are still goat kids, but they were called horse foals by mistake. It was fixed with 31.02.

Are you still using the same fortress from 31.01? You probably are still using the 31.01 raws, with the wrong name.

I can't confirm this. My fort in 0.31.01 has had two births, each of a single female calf.
