Tortise Fiends, specifically. But first, a little background.
Kadest, the towering fleshless Lizard Brute had an affection for Rumors, Murder, and Fame. This was, along with threats of violence, enough to enable him to create and assume the positoin of Master within the Golden Torment. He later strongarmed those same Goblins into creating the positoin of Genaral through force of arguement.
The Gobbos certainly needed a general, because in the year 8 the neighboring Humans attacked, led by a Tortise Fiend named BoiledHags (with deadly dust). A marksgoblin managed to kill BoiledHags, and all was well until the next year.
In the portentious year of 9, the Humans of the Nation of Hugs came back with ANOTHER Tortise Fiend leading their armies, and this time chased Kadest into the Silken Hills where he still sulks today.
Why were the Nation of Hugs lead by Tortise Fiends twice in a row? Well, it turns out that they worship a skeleton god named "Asa the Untamed Tentacle". Both Tortise Fiends (Boilhags and Erong) were able to sucessfully impersonate the god because they all shared the common associations of Deformity and Disease.
Unlike other Fiends, Erong does not like going to the underworld to tame beasies. Instead he lives in a humble hut and makes periodic trips all around the wilderness to tame things like Camels and Grizley Bears. He still rules the Nation of Hugs today.
