Can this all be made into one .patch file? :)

The EYELIDS and SOLDIER_COLOR fixes are generating errors.

The eyelids seem to be fine for me. I haven't changed the soldier stuff on my version.

I put together a patch with some of the changes. I haven't changed the weapon stuff. The TRADE_CAPACITY stuff is in there, though I'm still not too sure about it.

So how exactly do you use that .patch file?

I tried to do several of these in 0.31.02.   Hopefully I didn't screw too much up.  I shouldn't do these early morning releases...

So how exactly do you use that .patch file?
Windows:
  • Download GNU patch, extract bin/patch.exe to DF folder.
  • Save the spoiler text contents to a new file named raws.patch in the DF folder.
  • Shift+rightclick on the DF folder, click Open command window here.
  • Type in patch -p1 < raws.patch and press enter. Ta-da!

Untested, I don't even have DF installed, but it should work. And it will probably conflict with 0.31.02 raws.

Someone should update the first post and delete stuff already fixed in 0.31.2.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I think those are the ones from the op that are left. Soldier color probably still doesn't work, though. I've seen somewhere reported that the giant cave spider has [SYN_IMMUNE_CREATURE:SPIDER_CAVE:ALL] in its syndrome, and it still does. That should be [SYN_IMMUNE_CREATURE:SPIDER_CAVE_GIANT:ALL] of course. Also, the giant cave spider might now lack the [ATTACK_PENETRATION_PERC:100] tag, unless that's a default.

Many critters with teeth lack a [ATTACK_FLAG_EDGE]. This causes them to be fairly useless. Carp, for instance, can only bruise you with their teeth

Try fighting a real carp. Get back to me on how sliced up it makes you.

I have no idea what point you're trying to make here, but I can guarantee you that my skin is not enough to deflect a carp tooth, which was was happening to my test subjects.

I mean hell, KITTENS have that tag for their teeth attacks. Surely its exclusion is an oversight.

Kittens have sharp teeth. Carp don't.

Oh, I see. I knew they had teeth but I suppose I never knew what they used them for - guess it's just crushing and grinding.

Carry on, then!

Indeed. Honestly, I'd be shocked if carp could even bruise your skin.
