Diagnosis and animals`

The health screen says that two of my war dogs need a diagnosis for something.  My chief medical dwarf has all the healthcare skills and animal care and I set a hospital zone.  Nothing seems to be happening about this.  Anyone have any insights?

This is just a guess but have you tried kennels?
