Unconquerable doesn't specify who can't do the conquering.

Can adamantine weapons kill the new immortal demons?

mithril seems to be a fantasy replacement for titanium, as far as I can tell (since it doesn't sound very fantastical to have people using titanium). It's properties mirror titanium very closely- it's as strong as steel while being much lighter than it.

Tolkien made up mithril to be a magical metal.  It has no real metallurgical precursors, although you could take the reputed craftsdwarfship of the svaltalfar in norse mythology as being precursors to the mithril forgings of tolkien's dwarves.

Unobtainium is what supports the vacuum that all theoretical physical ideas take place in, and is great for making stuf such as frictionless pulleys and boxes that behave like point objects. Also, in the movie Avatar, it appears to be a room temperature superconductor.

Unobtanium stands for "stuff that doesn't exist but we wish it did".

Mithril is basically Titanium.

Slade is similar to Adminium from minecraft, in that it is only there to prevent you from falling off the bottom of the map.

The name's a placeholder for the theoretical element based on the number of protons it would have in its nucleus. If you actually create it, you get to name it whatever the hell you want. Go make a supercollider and name it adamantium.

I still believe that Adamantium is a metal of pure evil, not some kind of bogus seal. There are many more ways out of hell to the surface than through the narrow adamantium pillar, so the seal concept is pretty silly.
I have no idea what slade is, though. I figure that it's to prevent falling off the map (In this case, having an invisible wall), and to represent an infinitely pressurized core of the world.

I agree with the evil theory. I think it's some kind of byproduct of the demons' mere existence- their very presence somehow causes it to grow. I also think we need to stop calling it adamantium :D

Adamantium? I know of no adamantium, maybe you have been hit over the head with a clowite hammer and it did some damage.

Hmmm... I think that Adamantine is either a barrier to Demonkind, or it's a result of them being there, lore-wise of course.

Perhaps a play on Slate? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slate

Slate is fireproof and used in Tombstones.
