In the new military screen, if you want to create a new squad, when you are selecting dwarves it does not show you which ones are already in a squad. When trying to mount a last ditch civilian defence, it is nearly impossible to get everyone into the military if you have a lot of dwarves, since when you are making a bunch of new squads, you will probably end up putting peopel who already had squads, and the whole thing is a huge mess. At the very least, an icon showing which dwarves are already in squads, optionally which squad they are in as well(put a 1 beside dwarves in squad 1, a 2 beside dwarves in squad 2, etc), or just go the whole mile and take dwarves already in a squad off of the potential candidate list for adding members to a squad.
