Dwarf Traders
« on: April 03, 2010, 06:03:04 pm »

So I'd been going along on my adventures with decent enough bronze armor and weaponry, but I felt like a change was in order.  I tracked down a Dwarf capital and decided to hit up the shopkeepers there for some of the evident steel equipment I could see some Dwarves carrying, but I can't actually find them.  Is there a specific place they can be found, or are they one of the many idling Dwarves out in the open?

Dwarves don't have shopkeepers.

Just out of curiosity, what DOES Dwarf Fortress smell like?
Death, Booze, and Insanity.
Ladders are absolutely essential for one reason and one reason only:

Welcome, friends to Slaves to Armok III: Snakes and Ladders.

Or just massacre dwarf towns until you get what you want  ;D
Make sure you level up your skills on some humans or elves first.  And watch out for those miners.  You think they're wimpy just because they haven't got armor, right up until they brain you with a pick in one hit.

Or edit the raws to give 20k points per plump helmet.  Then embark with crapton steel and pump out steel weapons/armor.  Abandon and then go get your nice things.  Thats what I did.  Or you can just kill the dwarfs like Urist said.  Thats how I got steel on my previous adventurer.

Yes but then the three children hanging off her will catch fire.
And that's stopped people before...?
