I've tried it, and it seems like wrestling is a requirement. Beating them up never managed to kill them: it reduced them to a useless gibbering mess, but I never got a killing blow. Once they're in that state, however, with some wrestling I could probably just tear their head off (literally).

Sure. It's a human swordsman, with a full set of exceptional quality bronze gear. Should be good enough to get you through, I made it to the pits. Just a tip:

 When you meet the ceratopsid demon, run past it down to the glowing pits, then trick it to rush past you into the pit. It's a bitch to kill in a fair fight.

I can't think of any free file uploaders, are you aware of one?

Well, I don't kill half of them anyway. I stun them horribly, Grab them, and start smashing, and punching them in the face. Wait untill you get brain matter everywhere.

Just get rid of your old save folder (delete it or just temporarily move it out) and put that one in. Or you could just rename the "region1" folder to one not used, either way works.

Well, this is it, the long trek! I've descended once more through the bronze-colossus-infested cave above. I believe... this way is north, towards the mountains, so this way I will head.
And I have with me the ear and blood of a dwarf, to give me luck on my journey. Pity the colossus couldn't kill him, so I had to do the job myself. That's one dwarven civilization I'll never show my face in again!
Nothing left but to put on some music and set off.
