It wasn't outrageous enough to be a joke. I think it's awkward, at least where the main fields meet the background. But eh.

at first I was worried because I couldn't find Pointer but then I found the little chap and all was well... If pointersaurous was lost to the ages I would have been sad...

Otherwise I like the new site lay out and look.

Seriously, a panoramic view of a world in ASCII is about as great a background image as you can get for a DF site. I'd make one my desktop wallpaper if I didn't have to periodically look at filenames on the desktop.
