So has anyone else mined their adamantine vein to the very bottom layer?

"A vast magma sea" is a feature that sometimes appears in an underground layer, of which you may have up to 3 depending on luck and how many underground layers were specified in the world generation parameters.

Yep... they can fly. Also: A single locked door cannot stop hell's wrath.

It's moments like these that make me wish the army arc was done. I could imagine all the races of the world joining together to try and beat back the scourge. But until then, I guess my little fortress is done for.

You always have a magma sea, you can go through this sea by using the pillars of adamantine in the magma sea, these pillars lead to hell which contains flying demons.

Yep they definitely fly, unaffected by Lava (some spawn there?) I managed to crush them all with some cave-ins(Took like 20 tries to get something that works)

Though now that they're dead I'm kinda dissappointed.

Nothing on the surface of hell that was worth the trouble, just the adamantine pipe is now safe to mine. Unless someone can work out how to obtain slade.

Also some less rapey demons have spawned, I think it works like wildlife, once theres none left they spawn more.

Not sure if they spawn the weak demons on purpose or if I got lucky and the last 5 or so were killable.

The temple is even more of a brick-shitter than the underworld, IMO.

well once you clear out move in.
the only problem I wish we had was those HUGE reclaim armies to zerg down there.
but the ability to have over 150 zlevels over your head while you settle in hell is more enough for this person to try flooring over the slade. yeah I think slade is smooth able and one can engrave into it but with the fact there's a temple kinda proves that. maybe it can be muddied?
