normally when i start, i have a few dwarves gather native shrubs for some snacks until i start farming, and i have the trader make a few beds....but i can't seem to enable them (or see the vast majority of jobs). can i no longer set people with no skill at work doing it?

can i no longer restrict a mason from having mason enabled (to let the grandmaster have the run of the production)?

It's the same way as you always set jobs.

Only now each job is in a subsection and you just have to find which subsection it's in.

Like um... masonry is in the stoneworking area, I think.

I was talking about importing alimunim.
And we were hypothesising about the sexual relations between elves and trees.

It's a bug that sometimes occurs. On pressing n, you can't assign any nobles, either. Or can you? If not, you have to generate a new world.

yup, when i hit N there is a blank nothing for nobles.

when i P, L. i can see mining, healthcare, hauling, other jobs. other jobs contains architecture, alchemy, cleaning. healthcare has all the wacky new skills.

I see no other professions.

does that mean my world is busted?

You'll most likely have to regen. This happened on my first region.

Hopefully now that more people are aware of this they won't spend 3 pages repeating everything you already know about how jobs work.
