DF2010 mood: Body parts.

So I got my first mood in 2010, straight fey mood by butcher that claimed craftswarfs shop.

He desires rock blocks (easy) and "body parts".

Now, what the hell does that mean? I slaughtered several animals so i have various prepared brains and lungs and whatnot, I also have enough meat, bones and skulls to sculpt abomination. He is not taking anything.

What exactly does he want?

Could be shells, I seem to recall someone saying that in another similar post.

....They just refuse to stay down unless butchered, in which case their skins will haunt you until you subdue and tan them. Never has legendary butcher and legendary tanner seemed so valueable as in this release.

I'd say he wants shells, since stockpiles count those under "body parts" now.

How do you even get shells now? I haven't noticed getting any after eating cave lobsters.

I've got a shell mood now, and am trying to get shells from my turtles. No shells produced by cooking or eating them(prepared by not cooked or raw).

Perhaps this is because I bought them from a caravan?

I got turtle shells in this version by fishing turtles from a pond and then having the dwarf clean fish. I don't know about cave lobster, it used to be the dwarf would just leave the shell on the table to be taken to the refuse pit after eating a lobster dinner.
