Require some managing help
« on: April 03, 2010, 06:40:48 am »

How can I make it so that my Dwarves eat/drink/sleep as soon as they are hungry? Whenever they need something they continue working for a while before satisfying their needs. That causes them to accumulated unhappy thoughts really quickly.

Any help is appreciated.

I think the relative priorities (current task, dumping, eating, running away) were moved to pref files as part of the upgrade - so you should be able to edit a pref file and make it more likely that a dwarf will stop what s/he is doing and go eat/sleep/drink.

Good Sir, would you be so kind as to explain what these pref files are and where they are located?

I'm not 100% sure what I said is correct, but it is what I heard.
Having said that, the files I am talking about are in the folder
(wherever you have DF executable)\raw\objects

I just looked, can't see that any of the files have what I'm talking about but that's not to say it isn't there. Somewhere.

Ask on the modding forum instead maybe?
