Dunno if anyone else has come across this or not, but...

To me, it seems like sometimes when a dorf takes a drink from a barrel thats got more than one unit of booze left in it, he'll sometimes drag the barrel around with him afterwards.
At this moment my manager is carrying a barrel of 2 dwarven wine with him while updating the stockpile records. While it seems kinda dorfy, drinking on the job and all, it also seems like a bug, so thought I'd mention it.

Updating the stockpile? well, ain't that a coincidence? the only time I've seen a dwarf haul a barrel around is when he was updating my forts records.

I have noticed the exact same thing. Nobody else drags barrels around, just the guy updating stock records.

I've actually seen this with the military dorfs on their way to training.

Yes, for me it is military dwarves (possibly my manager as well, I just never checked), but I see them go in packs to the training ground with endless amounts of booze, but then again they were told they could carry drinks with them so maybe that is it?

Maybe the stock updater is bringing booze to his office, much like how he eats there?
