I want to imagine Âsax McBadass, Cave Swallowman, as an utterly insane fighter, performing insane stunts against a barely-mobile enemy, like hopping over it while holding the spear in his feet-talon-thingies while it... makes squelchy noises at him.

Now I have to go into arena mode and make a swarm of Cave Swallowmen with wooden equipment versus a dragon.  Whoever survives moves on to the next round!  Maybe I should spawn them all in the sky.

This is by far one of the most entertaining DF tales I've read.

I went into arena mode and made a cave swallowman named Asax.  I made him a grandmaster spear usage and all the melee stuff.  Lastly, I gave him his fungi-wood spear and shield.  Then I threw every mega-beast I could think of at him.

The Hydra couldn't touch him and went down in under 15 seconds.

Both dragons (At the same time) took him about a minute, but they couldn't touch him either.

Cyclops/orges/troglodytes all feel before him in seconds

I tried a bronze colossus, but I had to encase him.  Wood weapons aren't good enough to hurt him and the bronze colossus was to slow to even touch Asax.  They stalemated for half an hour before I put an end to it.

I also had him kill 20 cats at the same time for the kicks and giggles.

Ironically, it was the group of 5 goblins I sent after him that managed to do any damage.  They knocked him down and then 5 way gang-raped him.  I had to encased them.  He might have won, but I still want to play around with him a bit more before I let him die.

Who should he fight next?

EDIT: According to the ingame description Cave Swallowmen don't have arms.  So I guess they have hands attached to their wings or something.

This story IS BADASS. More animalpeople should be friendly. Perhaps some few individuals will rise as heroes and seek their fortune in the overworld.

I, for one, welcome our new smallow men overlords.

Cave swallows: "An armless man with the wings of a bird.  It lives underground."  (I imagine there are primitive hands on the ends of the wings.)
Âsax: "He is gigantic with incredible muscles."  (All caveswallowmen are described as gigantic, as are most wolves, and several mountain goats.  I suspect they're actually about human sized.  The "incredible muscles" are unique to Âsax, though.)  Unfortunately, there is no further description; the game does not track the physical stats of the dead beyond their size and build.  However, an actual Giant Cave Swallow is described thusly:
Species description: "A gigantic blue and orange bird."
Individual description:  "His feathers are brown.  His skin is tan.  His eyes are black."
No, those descriptions don't agree; presumably that's a thing that needs to be fixed.  Google Images gave me:
