Why not just make a new thread?

Wait for all the bugs and stuff to be ironed out. Plus, it's hard to answer questions no one knows the answer to :P

Is there a way to eat things like Wild Strawberries, other plants, etc, in adventure mode in the new version?

New Version question(s):

How do I activate mummies ( or whatever there is ) in coffins and sarcophagi?  I may be confusing this for the cursing me into a werebeast thing, I'm really not sure.

How do I gain powers?  And where do I find necromancer towers?

What use does the reading skill have?

You can disturb mummies by stealing their shit.

You gain powers by reading books written by necromancers.

I don't know if I should make a new thread for this but, has anyone found any big bugs yet? I refuse to download the new version until all the major bugs are found.

Yeah, it formats your hard drive when your fortress crumbles to its end, and forwards your bank details to Phishers.

Check out the mantis tracker, where you can see all of the recently discovered bugs.

So I've seen this question answered a lot of times, but for the life of me I'm not sure how to search for it. Might have had one too many tonight before setting down to DF.

Anywho, how can I change the vanilla tile set to be square and not rectangular?

This is a question from 31.25: I'm trying to build a moat around my fort entrance, but I can't channel out any of the ground that I left under the bridge. Is there a way around this other than destroying my bridge?

in before "is it raised?"

No - you can't channel it out because those tiles are 'occupied' by the bridge even when it's raised. You need to dig out anything under a proposed bridge site before building it for this reason - or in this case, deconstruct, channel as needed, then rebuild over your shiny new moat.

Go into the init file and change [FONT:curses_640x300.png] to [FONT:curses_square_16x16.png]
